Jefferson v. Burr; Mrs. Clinton v. Bush-Bush

The other evening I had the opportunity to read up on the Jefferson v. Burr "contest" in 1800.  Due to a flaw in the Constitution these two members of the same party ended up in a false contest for the Presidency.  When a few members of their party abstained, Jefferson was elevated to the Presidency.

In another matter we have a former First Lady and Presidential Mother, Barbara Bush, pushing another of her sons on America.  Since "Jeb" Bush's real name is John Ellis Bush (thus the nickname "Jeb"), I have taken to calling him Bush-Bush.  "Jeb" is infamous for his participation in the scam election of 2000 in Florida, Famous for a whole cast of characters including Bush-Bush and Katherine Harris, this fiasco alone would disqualify Jeb for the Presidency.  (See Vincent Bugliosi's work on this issue.)

The media's complicity in pushing Bush-Bush will be the subject of a future post.
