Rick Hasen, chancellor’s professor of law and political science at the University of California Irvine School of Law says Congress likely won’t be passing election interference legislation on a federal level. Instead, the United States’ counties and states are all that’s between the 2020 presidential election and Russia’s horde of hackers.

This is actually a very hopeful statement as it indicates the average citizen has more of a voice in the outcome of the 2020 election than he or she may have thought. By working together and speaking out, we should be able to stop the out-right of an election.
Unfortunately, the writer here does not mention vote suppression, especially voter caging as a major culprit. Greg Palast, internationally known reporter has documented 14 million excisions from the national voter rolls. This is what we must fight -- in the courts, and -- yes -- through blogs and social media.
