And Where is "Coverage" of Adam Schiff?
Rep. Adam Schiff's speech in the well of the Senate today was his strongest among numerous very strong speeches there and in the House. This was a speech for the ages. This was a speech of impeachment history.
But where is the "coverage" of this, passionate, informed and great speech? Instead we have ruminations on which Democratic candidate in Iowa is slightly -- or a litlte more -- ahead of the other.
I confess I did not see cable TV news today, and I assume there was adequate truth-telling during daylight hours. But in this case especially, we need prime-time reporting on just what is at stake as told by Mr. Schiff.
Adam Schiff will go down as one of the greatest lights of our times. He is the man of courage, out-distancing all Republicans by miles. We should be grateful for this patriot, even as we are tempted to cower in fear for the criminal negligence of the sycophantic G.O.P.
