Web Log Purpose

A web log based on the principle that a civilized society deserves democratic government based on integrity. The premise here is the U.S. democracy has effectively been subverted by oligarchical forces which must be opposed with facts and rational thought. (An RSS feed is recommended.)

Understanding Allegations of a Hoax

Perhaps in light of all that has happened in the world since, it may seem more plausible now than once it did to entertain the idea of some sort of hoax on September 11, 2001.  Today I have found a new web site called Global Research (new to me, at least), which focuses on inconsistencies in the story about World Trade Center 7, a building which also came crashing to the ground on that fateful day in 2001.

It has been often remarked that certain people took advantage of the terror surrounding the events of that day to push for and have adopted draconian anti-liberty laws in the U.S., and even torture prisons overseas, plus so-called renditions -- the capturing of persons on city streets around the world.

The rationale for this was a supposed war on the U.S. by a group called "al Queda."  This so-called war was evidently made manifest by a hideous attack on the World Trade Center in New York and on the Pentagon.  All this took place on September 11, 2001.

But did it take place and for the reasons we were told?  Certain questions were apparent immediately. Just how did nineteen young men from the other side of the world get access to U.S. planes and fly them into buildings?  Later it was revealed just how difficult this would have been to do, especially at the Pentagon.  Also later, it was shown that these budding aeronauts were actually poor students.  Some were said to be hardly able to fly at all.  So much more can be said.  I recommend the article below.

It is long past due for a truly independent research of the events which have had such profound ramifications in all the years since.

What Really Happened to Building 7?
