A local television reporter in St. Louis was first barred from a public meeting, after being assured he was welcome, and then hand-cuffed when he defended his right to attend the meeting with his station's camera.
The station had been doing an investigation of the city police department's use of unregistered and uninsured vehicles, something the station clearly had a right to do.
