Actions Meant to Express Opposition to Trump

Reports of protests around the U.S. are numerous enough to cause this blogger to almost become bogged down trying to choose which reports are most credible and most pertinent.  Yet, the numbers of accurate reports are enormous at this time.  

Reports are coming from all over, even as far south as Florida, as ordinary Americans take part in overwhelmingly peaceful demonstrations to express outrage over the expected ascension of Trump to the Presidency.

The focus of this blog over the coming days, as in the past, will be a bit more oriented toward history.  What have other countries done when faced with a Trumpista?  How can the American system even yet block a demagogue from entering the White House?  Or barring that, how can the American people thwart the actions of a clearly dangerous ideologue?

These will be questions I will be examining here.
